Sharp Pointy Things
Dec. 29th, 2006 11:36 amMy kitchen knives are the suck. I've had them for about twenty years, and they really don't hold a decent edge. I'm thinking that when I get my financial aid money, it'll be time to get some good quality kitchen knives.
Though the knives I use most often are the long French, vegetable cleaver, and a curved front knife, I'll get the whole set, probably including steak knives. I'd like reccomendations on good knives at a fairly reasonable price that have good quality and keep an edge for a long time. a full set is great, and if it comes with a storage block, all the better. The optimum option would be ones sold by Macy's or Foley's (which are the same these days, though the inventory change over hasn't really happened yet) so that I can use my gift card to pick up them.
